Keynote Speaker

Zach Davidson

Zach Davidson is the regional director of sales for Schoology, the world's most dynamic learning management system. He has worked at Schoology since 2013 and has been an integral factor in the company's growth from a small startup to the global presence that exists today. As the company's point person in Florida, he led the rollout of the Schoology Enterprise system in several districts across the state, including Broward, Lake, and Okeechobee. Zach is very passionate about introducing innovative ideas that both improve student engagement and streamline the daily tasks for educators and holds fast to the belief that a child's education is the gateway to their future. A native New Yorker, Zach graduated from Hampton University and currently lives in Atlanta, GA with his puppy Riggs.

Dr. Tim Clark

Dr. Tim Clark promotes Bring Your Own Technology (BYOT) and mobile learning to empower students and teachers with their personal technology tools for building learning communities. He is the author of the BYOTNetwork blog and has been featured regarding BYOT in NBC NewsEdTech MagazineeSchool NewsScholastic Administrator, THE Journal and many other news outlets. Tim frequently consults school districts on the implementation of BYOT, and he presents and conducts workshops throughout the United States on BYOT, Digital Age Learning, Mobile Learning, Social Media, and Online Safety for organizations such as the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN), and the K12 Education Congress.

[email protected] IT is a free summer technology event for Okeechobee and Heartland Consortium area educators. Two days of technology infused sessions, workshops, and keynotes are intended to initiate collaboration and spark interest in new and effective uses of technology as well as provide guidance in using our existing technology tools.  The annual technology conference is produced by OCSB IT Department with the support of our host school, Osceola Middle School, and companies that will be featured throughout the day.
