Empowered Educators: Tools, Tips and Tricks to Implementing Evidenced Based Strategies for Students with ASD

This training designed for teachers, therapists, and paraprofessionals will introduce participants to the ASD Classroom Tool identifying Evidenced Based Practices in the areas of Ecological Factor, Behavioral System, and Curriculum and Instruction. Participants will be provided researched based strategies and tools as well as classroom demonstrations to increase positive behavior and decrease problematic behaviors in the classroom and across school settings.

  • Participants may register to attend onsite or online.
  • Each onsite participant will receive a flash drive of materials, and other tools to increase their effectiveness in the classroom.
  • Door prizes will be provided along with coffee and lunch from the Foodies4Autism for onsite participants.
  • Inservice Points will be awarded by teachers for onsite participation.
