Work Hours

Most district employees enjoy daytime Monday-Friday schedules with weekends off. Most of our team members are off on all National Holidays and many of our staff members enjoy the summers off.

Retirement

The Okeechobee County School Board pays up to 13% into the retirement system towards meeting your retirement needs. We offer 401(K) and 403(B) plans as well to help you plan for retirement.

Vacation, Leave, Sick Time

All district employees accrue sick time and have access to a generous leave policy. Several district employees also accumulate vacation time.
